Shape the end-to-end security architecture for a major transformation program. Define security patterns, assess risks, and ensure alignment with enterprise cyber security policies and architectural governance.
This is initially a 12 month contract with a high chance of further extensions.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and design end-to-end security architecture across cloud and on-premise environments
- Establish security patterns for enterprise frameworks, cloud identity (Azure AD), encryption, and network segmentation
- Conduct security risk assessments and threat modelling
- Define security controls and ensure alignment with Cyber Security Policy and standards
- Review and approve technical designs for security compliance
- Provide security guidance to development and infrastructure teams
- Engage with governance forums and present security recommendations to senior leadership
- Ensure architectural decisions meet regulatory and compliance requirements
Selection Criteria
- Extensive experience in enterprise security architecture and frameworks
- Deep expertise in cloud identity solutions (Azure AD), encryption, and network segmentation
- Strong knowledge of security risk assessment, threat modelling, and security patterns
- Understanding of cyber security policies, standards, and architectural governance
- Experience working with large-scale transformation programs
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive security initiatives
- Excellent communication skills across technical and executive audiences
