Design and build modern full-stack applications using Java Spring Boot on the backend and React/TypeScript on the frontend. Work with GraphQL to create efficient, scalable data layers that power next-generation applications.
This is initially a 12 month contract with a high chance of further extensions.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain full-stack solutions using Java Spring Boot (backend) and React/TypeScript (frontend)
- Develop and optimize GraphQL schemas and resolvers for efficient data queries
- Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces with modern React practices
- Implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs for seamless frontend-backend integration
- Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and design patterns
- Collaborate with UX designers, architects, and other developers
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical standards
- Troubleshoot and optimize application performance
Selection Criteria
- Strong experience with Java Spring Boot for backend development
- Proficiency in React and TypeScript for frontend development
- Hands-on experience with GraphQL schema design and implementation
- Understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture
- Knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL)
- Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to code quality
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
